Why is Tumblr discourse so often on the most useless bullshit, and is it better or worse than when it isn't?

This becomes more sane if you read "self shipping" as "wanking". Still odd though.

Side note: Though the characters are small, I really like the character design.

Every time I see POC I can't help but think of POS - just the similar initials, not in any racist way as I really don't want to make that connection consciously or unconsciously. Without getting into my feelz about it in a Tumbler-esque emo-rant, I was just wondering if others saw this or had this association?

I have a new word for those who aim to make themselves (White or not) less valued, as close to shit as possible, for social reasons:
