What there is is a difference between active and passive sitting so sitting and doing something active with hands or reaching around is different to sitting zoned out in front of the TV or scrolling.

Right, I think specifically it's chairs where you can lean back and relax which are the problem (along with a lifestyle that uses them all the time). This does include cars, so that's one major way people end up spending lots of time in that position. I agree, an active sitting probably nullifies the bad effects.
