For those who don't know section 28 was the banning of the promotion of homosexuality.

There were not really any court cases or people imprisoned due to this, it was more a chilling effect on freedom of speech.

And freedom of speech is important, right kids?

Needless to say a Catholic school would not, and probably still doesn't, promote homosexuality no matter what the law of the land.

They are OK with creepy men wearing dresses though.

Edit: just realised the school is dedicated to a Thomas Moore, a martyr for free speech.
