My conspiracy theory behind why femcel subs were banned.

I think a lot of the new femcel accounts being created were fake, not made by actual femcels or even by women, and were used to post over-the-top hateful stuff that femcels would usually not post.

The same actors behind these fake femcel accounts then went and reported all of these planted accounts' posts as hate speech, and eventually the volume of reports made reddit ban the femcel subs.

I base this on my observation that established and known femcels never posted the kind of stuff that new femcel accounts were posting.

That's just how AHS operates as standard.

One has to wonder whether AHS itself is taken over by incels and manosphere.

About a year and a half ago I set automod to automatically delete comments from any brand new accounts. Comments and posts by people who were not flaired also got automatically deleted. Why? Incels and the manosphere would do exactly what you're saying.

In the last days I noticed an uptick in very old posts being reported as well as someone following BoardGaming around and reporting everything she says even though they didn't break any rules.

There are also several subs and discord servers that have weird men tracking us, archiving and criticizing every single word, and mass reporting. All these things work when enough come in. Admin knows this happens but allowed this anyway and they haven't said anything about the appeal beyond they are sorry to hear what happened and they will look into it.

Incels were the ones who would spread lies about what femcels were saying, it caught on, then people started calling FDS femcels, blaming femcels for things being said. Plenty of people on FDS do say things that could get a sub banned but AHS pointing the finger at us, on top of all of this, led to the end.

I certainly think it was a concerted attack against not just femcels but FDS as well, with whom femcels were lumped in.

The new accounts posting hate stuff were sometimes directly lifting FDS talking points, which is something you never saw femcels do before. But now that such stuff was being posted by "femcels" it was easy for AHS and those other weirdoes you mentioned to paint a completely different picture of what femcels were about.

the mods from "against hate subreddits" did something similar to c o o mers and gender critical

As much as I disagree with the alt-right and Republicans on this website they don't really care that we're here. For that I'm thankful.

I don't even remember seeing anything that seemed that hateful on the sub. I was shocked when I found that it had been shut down. What did anyone even do wrong? Considering what kind of shit is on redit I really, really don't think it was deserved.

And now I've made a sadit account because of it. Never thought I would.
