That's incredibly sad. These poor kids. The adults who push young people (and other adults) into this are morons and creeps.

They're monsters, hurting these poor girls like that. Some of the people pushing it are just misguided, but some of them have to know exactly what they're doing.

I admit I get a dark sort of enjoyment from it too. Something about the naivete, choosing to make themselves undesirable to men, ... There's a whole sub of women that men don't really bother with, and I like talking to women regardless of how they look. Still, I'd talk each and every one of them out of it if I could.

You know, I would bet almost any amount of money that most of these girls have been molested. There's this intense disassociation with their female bodies thanks to the abuse, and a desire to transform into something else. But instead of addressing this, they get labeled "trans" and put on hormones and sliced up. It's sick. In the 90's way.

I remember when I first heard the term "transgender" and saw a documentary about this person who was intersexual? Transsexual? Older term, but they basically were born with both and the doctor/parents had to choose. The parents chose female, and this person regretted it later and transitioned. "He" was very bitter towards the doctor and parents for years until she got older and realized they were just doing what they thought was in the best interest of their child. Even so, they had to go through a lot of counseling and therapy before transitioning, just to make sure. Seems like now it's less about what's best for the patient and more about what's best for the parents and doctors as far as supporting a narrative. Tragic!
