VERY interesting formula. I might borrow that for /s/Trutherism101.

I used to love The Daily Show, Colbert Report (never missed a show), Real Time, and Oliver's show. I simply tolerated the cringy shit, terribly flawed logic, didn't buy into either side, and just liked the comedy. But something changed and I started caring about the spin. By the time Oliver attacked Jill Stein, my last straw, I was done with all of them and haven't bothered since.

Jon Stewart always gave both sides of any argument equal time, unless the other side was so utterly contemptible that they shouldnt even exist (cough NAMBLA cough).

Also, there are good people who use this formula to educate and entertain people, notably ScarfingScarves the YouTube Lolita fashion channel.

Anonymous/Legion also attempt to use it, but they generally fail horribly because they suck at everything.

I think this is why he retired, tbh. There was no longer space for this genuine approach on the mainstream channels anymore, and he was essentially pushed out.
