Well if Yassir Arafat and Obama can get a Peace Prize, I don't see why Trump can't. The prize doesn't mean much at this point unfortunately. They try to use it to encourage good behavior, rather than rewarding success, imo. Like they did with Obama.

Anyway, it's interesting some Korean officials are saying this is possible only due to Trump. I am kind of questioning Trump's actual part in causing peace. I think they're just giving thanks to Trump as a political favor.

But regardless of the size of Trump's role, this event is an exciting step forward toward reconciliation with South Korea and the rest of the western-aligned countries.

Trump had nothing to do with it. It was China. It was key for their New Silk Road Agenda. Guess who is going to do ALL of the infrastructure improvements in North Korea and gain their needed Rail Access to South Korea. They going To kill us on trade, once again.

That's very interesting what you say about China building things in the new market of NK. Makes a lot of sense and is similar to how the U.S. became wealthy after rebuilding Europe after ww2. Plus China is overbuilt and looking for new markets.

Exactly! Look at some of the Videos on You Tube. China is buiding a mind blowing about of infrastructure, for free, just to get to the markets like India and the Middle East and ultimately Europe. They are tired of fighting over the shipping lanes and disputed Islands and as we know, the current model of predatory capitalism requires, and assumes, neverending growth.
