How would the killer(s) know that a person was about to talk? There's story after story of people dying right after they just agree to a meeting or something. Like that guy who was going to talk to the mother, he just called her, said he wanted to tell her something, and then died? How did they know he made a phone call? And why didn't he just tell her right then?

I think, the problem with something like this.. A lot of it is probably true, but they insert one or two verifiable lies and it casts doubt on the whole thing. Imagine being a police detective and you look at the phone records and the guy never called her at all. Not saying that's the case, but with that many people involved there are bound to be a few lies mixed in.
