Austin hotel purchased for $9M to become homeless shelter, didn't renovate it, bums smashed it all up and stole every bit of copper from the structure. Way to spend taxpayer money, Austin!

This is the issue with homelessness.

I think the best way to combat it, is make it extremely unattractive, and to have the best economy that could support them if they want to come back.

There is the idea among some that homelessness is not the fault of the homeless and that the homeless only need handouts. This is enabling to those who don't have metal health issues.
