By blindly judging people based on black-and-white thinking, so-called SJWs often cause the most severe social injustice. This makes the term an Orwellian reversal. War is peace, freedom is slavery, injustice is justice. Even though the term is used almost universally in a dismissive way, the words themselves essentially have a tone of validation. You're even calling them warriors. Note also that it was originally used as a self-description.

In essence, I feel like there's something polarizing and neurotic going on when we have to infer the meaning not based on the words, but on the character of the person uttering them. "Of course I wouldn't call them warriors except in an ironic way; you know me." It's disturbing when the ironic term is the default one. For those reasons, I propose we look for an alternative. Something that still dismisses, but in a more gentle way.
