This guy is fascinating. Highly recommend Fredrik Knudsen's Down the Rabbit Hole video on the guy. Kinda a sad story, tbh. The guy could have been an excellent programmer if it wasn't for the whole schizophrenia thing.

He created a complete operating system from scratch with zero external dependencies. No small feat that.
