Intentional irritation and division to distract from real issues and inflame tempers to usher in greater class war.

Seek alternatives and solutions, not division and distraction.

Imo that is a serious issue. Getting fired because of saying the wrong thing on social media is fucked up. Also I enjoyed The Mandolorian.

I agree the employment thing is serious, perhaps an example at the beginning of a trend.

Worse is the manufactured division, distraction, and destruction of Western culture. Disney/StarWars drama is not new. It's unnecessarily pissing people off and pushing failed corrupt SJW culture.

I liked parts of The Madalorian, but also recognized many flaws too. It's certainly not enough to redeem Star Wars.

Chipit you're like the local TMZ OP-ED.

That's a personal attack, not an argument.

If anyone knew what that string of acronyms meant. People can't use their own personal slang when talking to others. But that's what groupthink does.

It was a joke, not an insult.

TMZ is pop culture news for everyone who doesn't live under a rock. I've never followed it.

Op-ed is an opinion section.

Chipshit. We both know that's 90% of the time you're just writing the lines you're given.

But.. it's obvious to me that you actually wrote this next part, because it's laughably stupid.

People can't use their own personal slang when talking to others.

Wait, what? Holy over-reaction!

That "personal attack" was an obvious joke, because who in real life would know anything about a "Brie Larsen" or a "Gina Carano"? Sounds exactly like the kind of thing TMZ would cover. Yes, I've heard of TMZ...

Now I'm noticing this is in the Television sub. That probably explains what's going on. "Kill Your Television" came out in the 70s, and the validity of the arguments has only grown stronger. It's best to avoid anyone in or connected to Television in any way.

KRON4 News @kron4news

FIRED: Lucasfilm says Gina Carano is no longer a part of “The Mandalorian” cast after many online called for her firing over a social media post that likened the experience of Jews during the Holocaust to the U.S. political climate. http://bit.ly/3tNqNTf

That's what this is apparently about. "Dang it, the jews shall not be mentioned!" If you're wondering wtf the Mandalorian is:

The Mandalorian is an American space Western television series created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+. It is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, beginning five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983).
