Also how are some able to avoid COPPA detection?
First it was kids videos blocked though some independent kids shows STILL have comments like Foolish Firebox's videos of Thomas VHS Restored https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsY_y76WOL6bQUqRuGWNxiABO99T_cJP which calls himself Ciara Laube The Jiminy Cricket Fan but clicking upon it is Foolish Firebox's collection and comments ARE allowed still! 😕.
Then music videos started shutting off comments unless the channel is obscure and now documentaries are massively turning comments off with the 'Learn more by clicking here' which is just a robot description that doesn't really help.
Is this some kind of new national laws passed or some internal policy changes they didn't tell us? Perhaps a social engineering experiment if so what could they gain by caring about YT comments?
One kids song channel the video always ends with 'Please tell me what you think about (insert subject here) in the comments below or "If you've seen these types of animals please tell us in the comments below" which are disabled. Right how the f'k can we tell you? Do you think we were born yesterday?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
