Yes - look into Level 3 Communications.

Named as such because there are "three levels of internet";

1: Devices "sharing" a router

2: Routers "sharing" a city

3: Network of cables linking city networks of routers together

(Something of an over-simplification but the point remains)

With the coming "connected online existence" they stand to benefit from the pandemic the most - even more than Amazon, Walmart etc, because they own the roads of the new kingdom - that even the richest must bow and obey, to access.
