Obviously. I doubt any company will risk their front page to an algorithm. The problem is their process which is bias and often has agenda.

I do understand where they're coming from, as the front page can be gamed by faking views and votes, especially on sites like YouTube. However in practice this becomes another excuse for them to censor whatever they like. It's already been a long-time problem that some of the hottest new videos don't appear on trending because youtube doesn't like the content. This has happened to a few of H3H3's videos
