it looks like something built by the mythbusters

It's worse.

It's like the 80s took a shit on it.

It's like a truck-version of the DeLorean after a bad change from the Classic Coke into the New Coke.

Any day Elon Musk will be caught in a cocaine smuggling scandal.

He must have been high at the unveiling, and he must have been high in the design room.

This is almost as bad as his Hyperloop scam.

the marketing concept is wrong too, imo, use the cyber-whatever names for the gaming and vr products aimed at children. i am not driving my truck inside a tron movie fantasy land. why are they trying to implement science fiction designs in the real world? trying to infuse reality with fantasy seems childish and just unpractical.

I might consider it if it had a KITT red light at the front, bouncing back and forth.

Cyberfuck.

My niece was about 3 or 4 and every siren or loud sound she heard she thought was a firetruck - but she could only say "firefuck!" Of course you can't point it out or it becomes a thing but it was pretty funny.

Partly because it motivates irrational venture capitalists, partly because Elon Musk is living out his own fantasies and is accountable to almost nobody.

I've liked some cyberpunk stuff since the 80s. Doesn't mean it's all good design. Good being in the eye of the beholder and popular demand - which should not be confused with practical demand. If the Cyberfuck is a success, it may be because it's the only e-truck available.

He has his freedoms in the "free market" to be sure.

And to be sure my free opinion is that it's a fugly truck lacking imagination and aesthetics.

It's pretty practical from an engineering stand point...
