Men used to dress as or more ridiculous than women until the late 1800's when in an exceptionally rare display of common sense men noped out decided to just dress more or less practically.

I wonder why women did not follow this common sense/utility movement? They still trowel on the facepaint and Bozo lipstick, spend hours on their stupid overly elaborate hairdo's, and walk around in public wearing ridiculous adornments. What sort of self respecting creature walks around in high heels?

In drive thru open air zoos the monkeys will try to steal anything shiny off your car, and make a little pile. They love shiny trinkets.

But we're too evolved for such foolish indulgences.

Who knows man. It is funny though that about every decade or so the big cosmetics companies try to market to men. like clockwork you will see news articles proclaiming that make up isn't just for women anymore, but its always a lie. Men are like I ain't putting that gunk on my face forget it.

Men are primarily attracted visually. Women aren't. They are primarily attracted to high status and dominant personality and wealth, with looks being fourth or fifth on the list. Thus the bright plumage of females and the dull plumage of males in our species. In some species like peafowl it's the other way around.

Yea, it's pretty sad. Men lost a lot of humanity in the last decades.

If you look at photographs from like 100 years back, it was not uncommon for good friends to have non-sexual physical contact, like sitting on the lap of another man, without anyone calling them faggots.

Today it's like men have to prove everyone their straightness, by avoiding most physical contact with other men.

It's pretty pathetic how weak our ego got.

Being bald is fine but you gotta lift weights or you look like a cancer patient. I've never seen a dude that doesn't look ok bald, sometimes they need some stubble to pull it off, not even a beard.

Clothes suck now though. I wanna peacock my mansion with dumbass looking shit bc i'm rich so fuck you! These days they can't pull it off, ripped jeans is the best idea they have ahahahahha. BTW I would have a mansion if we didn't have to compete with 4x the population trying to own land as we do now, and building regulations. Coral Castle would never been built for example. None of us get to do that without a lot of money.

I agree that real estate has gotten stupidly expensive in most areas. Even modest homes are out of the price range of so many people.

My relative couldn't buy a house in Seattle because as soon as they came on the market they were snapped up by Chinese desperate to get their wealth out of China. It was stolen wealth, and if the government found them they'd lose it. So they don't care about the house, the condition, if they can find renters, anything. Just buy, immediately. No faffing about with financing, a wire transfer to the bank for the full amount, tomorrow. And who cares if it rots or sits empty for 10 years? It's still better than losing their money by keeping it in China.

He eventually found a house - got lucky. It was mis-listed and he bought it before anyone else discovered the mistake.
