He should join all the people at /s/LGBdroptheT

That's apparently where everyone went after reddit banned it. It's pretty active, I've thought about merging it with the current front page of saidit. The Atlantic even smeared saidit for that sub in an article that mentioned us lol

LgbdroptheT is a great community. Slate can go suck on a rotten egg.

I mis-remembered, it was The Atlantic, not Slate. I found the article: https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2020/12/reddit-ovarit-the-donald/617320/

Haha. I also came across this, another person interviewed by the author for this exact article, and most of their responses were ignored just like mine were: https://4w.pub/my-whole-conversation-with-kaitlyn-tiffany-for-the-atlantic/

That is interesting. It's good those interactions are online. The gender critical viewpoint is so often misrepresented and painted as "extremist" when it's really not.

I agree it's good they're recorded for everyone to see.

Falsely portraying normal things as "extremist" is a way to normalize absurdity. Once logic is outside the Overton Window, it's no good.

Yes. It still boggles my mind how they can portray it extremist. The world really has gone crazy.

Not the world, just the media and the followers of the media. Which, granted, is a lot of people. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

That's a good example of a sub that should not have been banned. People like this who want to discuss their concerns about identity, sex and gender should join communities like this to discuss those issues, especially because many of them, and many who are not in those groups, probably have no idea how diverse their issues are, and no idea about the latest trends in their communities, and most of all, it should help that these are anonymous discussions, especially because my view of all of it, is that it's none of my or our business what they do. I appreciate that the problem isn't that simple, but that's my 2 cents.

Personally I leave stuff like that to the LGBs.

But I'm sure everyone should join saidit. It's the up-coming thing. The wokes hate it. Your mother will hate it. Etc

My fucking hero.

The line about they look at transwomen the way blacks might look at blackface, that sums it up perfectly.

I'm kind of annoyed when some black people like Michael Jackson bleach their skin to try to be white, I wonder if it's like that.

[–]jet199[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I think it's more like if black people were to dress up as white people and act like we're really stupid. Like White Chicks.

Except white people find White Chicks really funny.

It's one of my family's favourite films.

that might be funny but I never wanted to watch it, not sure why, I think it is the uncanny valley effect, just looked weird, not gross really but they make me want to throw up. I guess michael jackson too but cuz he messed his face up with too much plastic surgery, didn't have a nose anymore.

[–]jet199[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Definitely uncanny valley.

Personally I hate all plastic surgery and that's not easy as I come from Essex.

White chicks is retarded, and I am white.

[–]FlippyKing 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

How can I answer? You're the one kind of annoyed: probe the depths of your feelings and figure it out.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

That's kind of like how I support all gay people except the ones that act annoying and weird. Truth is most are pretty normal though.

I figured after the contentious Sticks & Stones that he would eventually tackle this controversy and lo and behold he did not fail to deliver and trigger the TRAs.

"I'm Team TERF. I agree. I agree, man. Gender is a fact."

While the traditional gender binary definition applies to those who were born either male or female at birth, many identify as nonbinary and don't consider themselves solely man or woman.

Not Chappelle's fault that enbies are in la la land.

TERF is an acronym that stands for "trans exclusionary radical feminists." The term describes feminists who are transphobic.

I've noticed it's used specifically on women who are deemed "transphobic". And women don't even necessarily have to be feminists to be called that. The only time I was called a TERF was when my sex was not indicated and they assumed I was a woman due to the regressive gender stereotypes they held. Because if they know you are male they will probably just call you a transphobe and right-wing or something.

Anyway, I'm glad he stepped up and identified as a TERF, taking some of the heat off of people like J. K. Rowling. His should be supported on social media because they are trying to cancel him for that too now.

One of his attempted cancelers(good luck with that) is this trans-identified dude who's writing for the reboot of Queer as Folk. Which I'm sure is gonna be real fun to watch with gender ideology now inundating it /s
