Believe Moms: There's Something Else Going on With Trans Teens. A few weeks ago, I published an open letter about my Weird Son and his sudden and very unlikely self-diagnoses of being transgender. To my surprise, it was blocked as “Hate Speech” by Medium.

It's appalling that this even needs to be said. Of course mothers know their children best!

Are there truly transphobic and homophobic parents out there? Of course. But not letting your kids take dangerous drugs, run off with pedophiles and make themselves sterile is not transphobic. It's good parenting.
