Holy shit.

Here is the article. https://amp.jsonline.com/amp/4730204001?__twitter_impression=true

"Cream City Foundation" is the organization that did drag queen reading hour. The article says he was president and CEO.

When I called my library to complain about Drag Pervs Sex Hour, the tax-payer (of which I am one) funded library employee called me a "bigot" and worse. His supervisor was no better. Guess it's time to call them back...

assuming gay men who do drag are all pedophiles is JUST homophobic. "Drag Pervs Sex Hour", do you even listen to yourself? I get the distinct impression you enjoy all this.

Drag is a sexual performance.

Acknowledging that isn't a smear against gay men. Many drag acts have refused to do this storytelling for that reason.

Just because they aren't all perverts doesn't mean I want them telling my kid a story in fishnets and ridiculous makeup and heels.

If perverts get the idea they are welcome and use these story hours to target kids yeah that is a problem.

Same thing with men in dresses sneaking in to harm women. Just because every trans person isn't like that it doesn't mean you can't attempt to protect yourself from getting into a vulnerable situation.

Drag queens go ahead and do drag in your clubs not in our libraries. We don't serve liquor in libraries either, some behavior is inappropriate for an all ages venue.

Where did I say that gay men who do drag are all pedophiles? NOWHERE.

I specifically talked about libraries and Drag Pervs Sex Hour, a topic I know a lot about. Obviously, enough to take action on.

Please, stop with the defensiveness and personal attacks. We are all here for the same reason: concern that our rights are being eroded or destroyed by gender ideology.

Also, would you please explain why drag is celebrated when "cultural appropriation" like the kind Hilaria Baldwin indulged in, results in social and career destruction? Drag is disrespectful to women, while Baldwin has a deep love of Spain and its culture.

Or do you not think that women are oppressed, even though, in the progressive US, women of all colors lacked basic rights, sometimes until recently?

For instance, women my grandmother's age didn't have the right to vote until their late 20s. She was the first woman in her career.

My mother couldn't get a line of credit without a man cosigning. I myself was not allowed to take "boy" classes until after Title IX.

So drag is an oppressive group, men, doing exaggerated caricatures of an oppressed group, women, for laughs. Surely that should be considered a little offensive in a country, the US, where white women wearing hoop earrings are considered "cultural appropriators"?

Why did I call my own library, which my taxes help fund, to complain about Drag Pervs Sex Hour? Because I had seen videos of their "performances" and because I read these and other reports:

Sex Offender Busted as Drag Queen Who Read Books To Children in City Library https://www.newsweek.com/sex-offender-busted-drag-queen-who-read-book-children-city-library-1365384

Here's another:

I get that drag is a more sexual stage thing in America, but in the UK most of of our performers are more like shrill comedy acts. You get nowhere as a drag queen here without having a vicious wit and a lot have been pretty mainstream. Look up Lily Savage.

I think it's got something to do with our pantomime dame tradition. Dressing up as women for comedy roles has been standard in a lot of our comedy TV series.

Having said that, cross dressing is a well known risk factor for being a sex offender in men.

You'd honestly be safer getting strippers to read to the kids. The odds of them turning out to be an kiddy fiddler are phenomenally lower.

I think you are confusing main stream comedians who happen to wear drag with the drag culture in gay clubs. The latter is definitely as sexual as in the US in the UK.

The drag queen who went into read to kids in Scotland was called Flow Job. Look them up.

Alok is probably next to be caught. MAPs (aka pedos) jumping on the trans and drag queen train and running it to the ground
