There’s no authority for declaring any day “international X day”. I work in marketing and have released multiple press releases over the years encouraging media outlets to talk about an issue because it’s “national issue day”.

My only criitique would be : why a day? You’re selling the struggles and contributions of super straights short. Gay pride month, black history month. April should be Super Straight Pride & History Month.
