    Hahaha it's so obvious but it's so true.

    I wonder if perhaps the trans activists who responded/upvoted that comment just see any remotely negative sentiment paired with the word "trans" and literally don't even register the comment being made.

    This is part of how reddit was even when it was good. Some subs are run by, and attract certain sorts of assholes and idiots, such that sane people go elsewhere. Yes those people are objectionable if you pay them any heed, but you could just turn a blind eye previously.

    The problem with reddit is that the assholes and idiots have the power, through admin rights, abuse of sitewide rules etc to attack the sane parts or reddit, and humanity as a whole.
