Trans is arguably the most privileged minority on Reddit, partly because TRAs are over-represented in IT and often pursue mod/admin roles in order to shut down any discussion they don't like. They can pretty much say anything they like, no matter how awful, and nothing will be done about it.
This is what they did to a gay group I used to belong to. Once they had a critical mass of moderator positions, they imposed strict rules for what you could and couldn't say, rules we'd never needed before, and they ban anyone who doesn't toe the line.
