I guess to the not so paranoid, they simply track this to match advertising to the consumer robot. The paranoid, and with the right experiences for just reasons, would think that this is an effort to compile data into black files for future blackmail.

Think about that annoying fucker(to the oligarchy) running for office; what better way than to threaten to expose them for not doing, but viewing a video in their own home.
