I tried to kill myself with salt when I was around 13 after I learned that too much salt could kill you. Had some funny reactions with my skin turning lobster red with white sprakles all around, my whole body breaking out in feverish heat, heavily increased heartbeat and the feeling to suffocate on the air that I was breathing. It didn't finish me, but since that I have the taste of salt in my mouth whenever I only think about it, even now as I write this down here. My mouth and everything I ate or drank after that suicide attempt had a strong salty taste for nearly 2 years.
