QUOTE: "Google's bias towards left-wing media outlets has been laid bare by an algorithm which detected that it favors sites including CNN and The New York Times over others. According to data compiled by researchers from Northwestern University, the search engine promoted those sites over others repeatedly in November 2017. Of the 6,302 articles that appeared in Google's 'top stories' page that month after a term was searched, more than 10 percent were by CNN. The New York Times was the second most favored and accounted for 6.5 percent of articles. The Washington Post was third with 5.6 percent. By contrast, Fox News, the most right-wing outlet in mainstream media, was the source of just three percent of the stories which appeared."

What to garner out of this? First off, the idea of 'fake news', as peddled by the MSM, is a load of bull hock. It's a term created out of the need to hide the MSM false narrative; which in the modern world of communication is fact checked, and usually proven untrue by average people across the Internet. From there, what else can be garnered from this? All information is subjective, use lots of sources, and compare to deduce your own subjective opinion; everyone will find their own truth through their own critical thinking skills, common sense, self reflection, and personal responsibility. Prove me wrong.

If someone’s trying to shut you up, you’re probably right.

Personally, yeah, all I have to do is look at google news and I can see the bias. I do use google but I try to avoid mainstream sources as much as possible.
