Maybe the kids have never really seen capitalism at work because everything is so manipulated by corporatists and crony capitalism. They grew up post-US-manufacturing.

If it's true that they are influenced more by politically correctness, instead of job performance alone, then we're truly screwed. It really leans in my mind as zero life experience. I mean zero life experience.
We're talking about a generation coming up that cannot drive stick shift cars, and seemingly cannot leave the keyboard.
Life is risk, life can be dangerous, but let's make it all love, hugs, and kisses??? Doesn't work, but whatever, we'll see how things go, but I'm guessing a lot of people will be attending the School of Hardnocks.
