The censorship is going on right before our very eyes; no new legislation, just all the power players working in concert; of course for the 'greater good', right?

What I don't comprehend though, is how they cannot stop radicalized ISIS videos, child pornography, and other horrific things that are found to consume apparently large areas on social media, but this NZ shooting, and anything 'white' must be stopped immediately.

My personal thoughts on the subject are unsure. I value people based on their literal ability to 'live, and let live'. If anyone can do this, then that's all that matters. On this subject though, the one clear thing that presents itself, is the continual 'divisiveness'. It's always clear as day, the current society we live in, daily the media continues to point out every minute difference, while in close proximity, they then tell us we shouldn't notice the difference.

What's it all go back to??? Remember it's law via executive order, and I'm sure there's other legislation that allows it, but we're dealing with mass psychological warfare; it's just to concerted.

To the people who think that "protecting" the "public" from "objectionable" material is a good idea, I'd like them to consider this:

People are killed and maimed in terrible gory traffic accidents all the time. Protectionism would then dictate that we should close all roadways immediately and declare an automobile surrender program.

Or, crazy people use the postal service to send bombs or threats sometimes. By this logic, we should change the postal service such that it only delivers grocery flyers and official government documents.

Such fun times we live in :/

As corny as it sounds, I do believe all that you wrote is at jeopardy; the idea of security over liberty, and the effects there of, always dictate more, and more constricting regulations/legislations.

We're seemingly living in the days of, 'first they came for people in my town, then my neighbors, then.... xyz trickle down effect.

Dying empires, and the tyrants looting what they can before hand is where I think we maybe at.

And people get behind this. They justify it. Oh no, we have to stop hate speech! Yet we've always had folks who hate on others and we never needed to silence free speech because of it. Then they came for dangerous speech, then they came for .. It won't stop here. There is no reason good enough to silence free speech.
