Perverts shouldn't be allowed in bathrooms. Transgender people should. If they overlap, kick em out.

I wouldn't risk my family with that; specifically, I don't want hours of explanation to a child, to comfort them, out of my own time.

Is that wrong? If someone else chooses to cut, nip, tuck, or scrawl all over their body, why is it up to me, to waste my life energy, my time, in explaining to my children anything other than 'they're all freaks'?

Furthermore, and on that topic, since as the parent, why can I not teach them,'be polite, as you'll be labeled as a hater at any age, but don't turn your back on anyone, always be keenly aware'?

I do see that as a burden on all of society, instead of getting straight to whatever business these days, instead, there's an extra timed amount given to 'orientation, and gender', which has never been there before, and if not planning on ever screwing anyone, why does anyone need to have their time wasted in hearing it???

That is after all the most precious thing on this planet, "TIME", so why force others that want to explore the natural world, have instead to deal with people wanting attention?

you think transgender people just want attention? that's a rather simplified worldview.

and comparing transgender people to self harmers? that's a bit of a stretch.

I think a great deal of all people, the strong majority live for attention; hence why social media focus is on how to create an artificial means of dopamine satisfaction. Considering this, and other things I've learned, I do believe there are large numbers of people doing things to themselves that in the end, they hate; for examples, pick any of the societal 'trends' over the last 2 to 3 decades; there are regrets.

From the angle 'for attention', other than transgender, I think there are a lot of people who're willing to do all sorts of self harm for a minute of being 'cool'.On the topic of transgender, the numbers for people who've had reassignment surgery, then changed their minds, or with mental illness: https://www.thepublicdiscourse.com/2016/06/17166/ I think it's valid to have concern for people rushing into something based off an artificial media frenzied, 'cool factor'.

I honestly don't care what anyone else does, or how they live their lives; as I want the same, to be left alone, and live my life. I accomplish this, by minding my own business in public, and trying to be respectful.

That's not good enough though apparently. Many to most people wear their emotions on their shirtsleeves, never realizing the next mullet has a life, and the problems that go along with that. Anymore to look at anyone, and not give the 'appropriate' response, is viewed as hate. If a regular mullet is having a bad day, and screams at the next regular mullet, it's just what it is, but if said mullet screams at any of the media propped up special groups, then it's 'hate'. I see this as a problem, and I also see the problem of 'everyone' just wanting to live their live, the way the see fit, as well as being recognized, acknowledged, seen, known by everyone else as a problem also. People literally make spectacles of themselves, because they want to be seen, then are upset when people see them, and in whatever means proverbially tell them to go take a hike; just like they would with anyone disturbing them.

The fact is, no one needs any special group to belong to for a healthy dose of ZERO acknowledgment. Is the world turning proverbially cold, as people don't care anymore, or has it always been that way? I don't know, but it's definitely that way now, as seen by way of video. My point is? Any group that demands any acknowledgment, is asking for something the general societal mullet never gets; so why should '(insert group here)' have it extra special?
