So.... I know a thing, or a 'few' about pigeons....lol... they're great critters, and most all that you see anywhere aren't wild, but 'feral'. The feral kits usually consist of racing, and homing pigeons for the most part, but there are multiple breeds, and uses.

Last I checked, all the major world players are invested into homing pigeons; for communications. The US Govt., 'last I checked', was the largest breeder, and openly use them for rescue at sea; they spot people in their flight vectors, and are trained to enter different boxes in the coup upon return.

I won't bore anyone, but pigeons are big money, big fun, and can be had for little investment; don't abuse'em!
