The documentary is 'ok', I think they could've summed it up in a much shorter version, but I guess they're going for the human interest aspect.

So, in watching it, my mind was wandering, and trying to think through the greater implications. The bastards in power, seemingly like to play in esoterica. The very little bit I've looked into, they always have 'points' of value, interest, or necessity; I think for each point, they have multiple ways to it, and from that point. Call it a point of time, and the ways to the point are the past, and the results, the future.

So, if you're still reading, there's been a massive push over the last 20 years to consolidate all water rights out West. Take your pick of states, as they're all starting to claim even rainwater. I do absolutely speculate, that the fracking industry from the onset is why they're going after the water with such voracity. I would even speculate they invented fracking to push up the value of water.

Water is everywhere, but these bastards are polluting most of it, to rack up a very expensive monopoly on the little bit they don't ruin. Imagine $4 a glass clean water happy hours.
