You're view is completely understandable; given the mountains of propaganda that everyone is subjected to concerning population.
I'm sure that you are much to intelligent to take my word for it. Please watch the YouTube video that I linked in the comment and decide for yourself. Previous predictions suggested that were be living in apocalyptic times by the year 2000 (much earlier infact), and every prediction was completely wrong. The Doomsday predictions are a lie.
Please take the time to look into this for yourself. The facts speak for themselves. I'm certain that you will agree when the actual facts are presented. The video is comprehensive, so you will benefit by watching it until the end.

Sorry; been away for a while. I did manage to view the video and fundamentally agree with Corbett's views on the alarmist Paul Ehrlich. I read the original edition of The Population Bomb, and swallowed it whole at the time. I'm coming around to a different point of view, however.
