Regardless of whether he's right or wrong (wrong IMHO), you don't take away an Olympic meddle because a guy's an asshole or freely speaks something stupid, wrong, mean, or inconvenient.

The "honours" come also with authority. Plus, he's still got plenty of honours left; it's just that this group of people chose to stop honouring him.

I'm pretty sure James Watson is a fraud, as he used Rosalind Franklin's research data for his "discovery" as well as gained improper access to her xray photographs.

The fact that he didn't announce the DNA "findings" until Franklin was in a comma for ovarian cancer and unable to refute their claims, is quite revealing.

Yes, but they've not taken Obama's "Nobel Prize", and he was no saint of peace; likewise, there are so many imposters, traitors, et el throughout history that are honored.

It really seems like at the end of the day, right, or wrong makes no difference, nothing is important other than servitude to the great State/Oligarchy.
