freedom vs liberty
Why do we see "Liberty" on gov't coins, never 'freedom'?
Why do we have a Statue of Liberty, not Statue of Freedom?
With Govern meant control, we have no choice, except exit (by death or other means of escape).

Umm, I think because Liberty is apart from freedom. I don't find duckduckgo, as a 'go to' for my comprehension, but almost a 'try' at conveying your thoughts. Perhaps a little more work towards life experience, and knowing what it entails would be up to par?.
Freedom, is as I wrote in the OP, but without a lot more in your tool box, you won't know how to exercise your 'freedom' towards your betterment; hence Liberty; let the light in bro.

In simple English, freedom is unfettered choice which originates in the self, but liberty is someone else (govern mean t)'s choice to let you go on your own, with limits (fetters). Fetters are better than slavery, but not so nice as freedom. So of course, gov't wants to promote official Liberty, while Freedom gets hidden in songs of silence, and slavery gets hidden in various deceits, but it's there.
My view is extremely different from yours, Sancho. No use conversing because I don't want to argue.
