This is not "nice". This is not "good sportsmanship". This is pansy ass nonsense. If you can't deal with mishaps as a pitcher, get benched.

I hear ya, let me put it this way.

My son is a 4 year letterman on a state champion football team, he plays linebacker, and he rocked a kid so hard it took him out of the game last year. I'd have genuine concern if he didn't feel bad about it. He wasn't tearing himself about it, but at least he showed some concern.

This is coming from one of the least empathetic people on this site, or anywhere for that matter.

With that said, yeah, the whole display was a bit much. I'll give you that.
