riding bikes on roads is retarded, stay on the sidewalk, if there ain't one don't ride the bike at all, stay on trails

I think all roads should have a 3 to 5 foot wide bike/pedestrian/scooter lane on each side. It would be expensive to expand current roads, but could be done cheaper if the roads are being reworked for other reasons.

it'd be very expensive and not feasible. For all roads. For select ones known to have high bike traffic, good idea.
