Bro, these rules are savage. They had to stop each other or the fight would go on...That was some crazy shit especially with no weight classes . Thats gladiator type of fight till you can't fight no more...Did you happen to see any of those early UFC's when Gracie's held them?

Yeah, UFC 1-11 are the shit. Nobody knew what was going to happen when you put a sumo wrestler against a boxer. It was beautiful.

Tank Abbott's debut was stunning. No formal training, just an ass-kicker. He defeated several martial arts practitioners and the announcers were livid. He was doing it wrong, see? Only the purest of form were allowed to win.

Then the Brazilian stuff started and the bouts became snoozefests on the ground as the Brazilians method was to do nothing, bore the other fighter to death and wait for him to make a mistake. The announcers loved such pure sport.
