'Cultural Marxism' is such a retarded concept. The workers own the means of cultural production? It makes no sense. Just a mumbo-jumbo idea.

It's not mumbo-jumbo, so much as you've mixed it up. You've confused two distinct concepts.

"Cultural Marxism" is politically correct totalitarianism, manufactured justification to censor or worse.

The means of production is an entirely different matter. As for the workers owning it, SaidIt is not quite there but intends to decentralize at some point, much like Mastodon and PeerTube are federated. My /s/GlossedAndProfound project also intends to be a worker-directed enterprise or worker co-op that will produce our own content and influence culture in as much as it can.

The phrase itself is mixed up. Why call it after the principle of worker-led economies if it's nothing to do with worker-led economies?

Indeed.

First you have to ask who developed and promoted that phrase.

SJWs, Socialists, and Marxists never call it "Cultural Marxism". Generally speaking it's the right who has a problem with socialism, communism, and Marxism AND are the ones using the "Cultural Marxism" phrase.

Cultural and Marxism would suggest that it's about a culture for a Marxist worker-led economy.

The reality is that the right and/or conservatives and/or capitalists consider communism equivalent to totalitarianism (as if capitalism and fascism aren't different forms capable of totalitarian tendencies).

Political correct speech, manners, and culture have been conflated and now taken to absurdist and totalitarian extremes at the expense of free speech. You are guaranteed free speech but not freedom from being offended. Further, being an asshole is not a crime - yet.

Cultural totalitarianism is weaponizing political viewpoints - and as easily predicted, is alienating the left, disenfranchising the old legit left, and pushing the entire Overton window to the right. Meanwhile the traditional conservatives and alt-right are being alienated by the corporatized left - and this intentional political vice is squeezing our culture into a civil war of sorts, as intended.

As long as we are fighting each other we are not fighting the ruling class, their corrupt banks and media, or their evil matrix of rigged systems for full spectrum dominance for control/power over every aspect of our lives.
