    It's not that easy with Venezuela.

    Their oil company was one of the best in the world, invested a lot on the country and brought a lot of money in to the government to spend on their policies. Then the socialist government forced them to replace their experts with political cronies, the company became useless and the money disappeared. You may hate private companies but it's exactly that attitude which caused Venezuela to collapse. Surely if a company is doing a good job and helping the country it's no bad thing to support them rather than undermining them for purely ideological reasons.
