I donated to an organization raising legal challenges to masks and distancing. I got an email from them a few days later saying the credit card company reversed all the charges for all of their donations and cut off their payment services.

Banks and credit card companies have been playing moral police for a while. They blacklisted a business in my country that was going around in a mobile van selling loanshark services in the poorest neighbourhood. The businesses can't get bank accounts anywhere, nor can any of the owners anymore.

Sure, its a shitty business model, but it shouldn't be banks shutting them down. We have laws and consumer protection government agencies for that.
