The people making millions on youtube are not only showing you crappy ads, the company compensates by charging you more for the product. You are paying to annoy yourself by supporting them.

Followup, the people selling merch get very little for a sale, only 2-3 dollars for a 20 dollar shirt. The people who make the shirts prey on these people and make 8-12 dollars per shirt. Who are you trying to support?
2rd followup, never donate, they just claim it out of taxes and you end up paying double through taxes, as they claim it as a business expense. It's why you see so many youtubers frantically buying 100k cars like they are rich, YOU PAID FOR THEM!
