I can see books that are part of the syllabus needing to be approved, thats quite reasonable. Banning books from the library altogether is a different matter, and is a bit censorious for my liking

They're just banning age inappropriate materials from school libraries. I believe it's getting the LGBTQIAPedo+ material out.

I think there is a big difference between pushing this stuff on kids (making it part of instruction), and being available to kids who are going out of their way to view these materials on their own which crosses a line I am not comfortable with. I don't think its the school's job to decide what information is allowed or not allowed, thats too far. I don't want them teaching kids the bible either, but I'm not gonna ban it from the library for kids who want to read it. I am also skeptical that many kids these days are browsing books in libraries anyway.
