For the lazy: It starts out as someone who started taking a red pill around the time of 9/11, then noticed people stopped interacting except on digital devices which somehow wrecked his ability to do research? IDK honesty I kinda skimmed it. Lots of bloviating about how people should think, then finally we get to

There is no truth movement. There never was. There is only your journey to discovering what the truth is.

Shift from collective to individual responsibility. Others will follow your lead.

The other layers act as a set of progressively smaller pored filters, they'll remove larger particulates and keep it from gunking up the finer stuff even though the heavy lifting is done by the charcoal like you say. Also I hear if you use limestone it makes the water sweet, supposedly this is the "secret" to Jack Daniels, although personally am not a big fan of JD.

Isn’t it odd that as soon as we talk about something, it shows up. I wonder if this guy saw our comments.

Or could be the Jungian collective unconscious at work.

Welcome. Pretty sure it’s the activated coal that really cleans in this process.

Looks like this is better than a plastic filter.

Two Ways to Stop Caring What Others Think by Drewski in SelfImprovement

Not caring is a natural talent for some. Others have to work at it.

I think that the primary factor that affects this is self-perceived social status. Insecurity can be a difficult obstacle for some people to overcome.

Unfortunately, some people won't understand it.
