'An existential threat affecting billions': Three-quarters of Earth's land became permanently drier in last 3 decades Aridity: The ‘existential crisis’ redefining life on Earth; Five billion people could be affected by 2100. Lack of moisture contributes to biodiversity loss, increases the frequency of dust storms and fires, and worsens the climate change adaptation situation in affected regions. In contrast, less than a quarter of the land area (22.4%) experienced wetter conditions, with areas in the central United States, the Atlantic coast of Angola and parts of Southeast Asia experiencing increased moisture.

My narrative is that the climate change is real, just mostly not the result of human activity 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. It has no meaning it to abuse it for alarmist policies.

But only temporarily and on isolated places and this irregularity is also a symptom of climate change. As a whole the Earth still becomes visibly more dry.

I call bullshit on this narrative.

I call bullshit on this narrative

It coincides with polar drift of geomagnetic poles and changes of length of day.

Thawing permafrost may release billions of tons of carbon by 2100

Permafrost, found beneath 15% of the northern hemisphere (14.4 million km² or 563 gigatons of carbon), is composed of frozen organic material that, in many areas dipping below -5°C, has stored carbon for millennia. Global carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels and industry totaled 37.01 billion metric tons (GtCO₂) in 2023. But methane is responsible for around a third of the human influence on the planet’s increasing temperature. For permafrost the methane portion gets substantially higher.

The ‘Blob,’ an unprecedented marine heat wave, killed 4 million seabirds This may be the largest die-off of wildlife, specifically nonfish vertebrates, reported in the modern era
