If they assasinate Trump that will be it. At first there will be a flurry of revenge assasinations. Then small strike groups will hit blue lefty cities just to stir shit up and sew fear. Red states will begin rounding up illegal aliens and deporting them to blue states. Mass desertions will hit the armed forces as people start taking sides. These veterans will be picked up by state National Guard and Reserve units that have converted to state militias. That is when the big gun paradox will hit the lefties; they want to ban guns but there is now a civil war. What will they do? The only lefty in our large extended family hates guns but will they pick one up and use it?
