Felt Calm And Peaceful Thinking About My Death by Cleopatra in SanctionedSuicide

Well that feeling of complete calmness didn’t last long before the anxiety set in again. Some days I feel calm and ready to die. Other days I am filled with fear and anxiety. It’s not possible to eliminate SI completely. The best that I can hope for is to momentarily overcome it when the time comes.

Take it from a guy who's tried to kill himself on multiple occasions.

It gets better. I swear to god. I felt the exact same way you do. It got better. You have your whole damned life in front of you. Snap out of it and think on the bright side. You could be bleeding out in a ditch somewhere in Ukraine. You could be lying in some filthy street while your body spasms from a fatal OD. You could be in the Middle East, living in fear of getting shot up at any moment. You could be in Africa living in complete poverty. But you aren't. You're where you are now, you have a job, you have a family. Everybody exists because their parents wanted a baby. Nobody gets to chose that. But what you can choose is how you live your life. You can choose to make the most of it, or you can choose to mope around. Your decision.

I used to write long farewell letters in my younger years: whose gonna get my stuff, and why others won't get shit. Proclaiming my love to people who already know and cursing others for being cunts. What else should/could we write in a suicide note? Most of us are not Philosophers, Master of Life or even capable to communicate our anguish and pain. From my point of view it's a waste of energy and time because nobody cares, and the world will continue to turn-24/7.

I'm considering the following;

1 - first down half a bottle of bayer genuine 325mg tablets (200ct ea bottle, so I would ingest 100 @ that time (act as blood thinner and pain reducer so more blood flows - don't want the blood to clot EZ)

2 - then apply Aspercreme w/ 4% lidocaine to areas I plan to cut with box cutter so as to not feel the insertion of blade)

3 - Then I'll drink 2 whole bottles of ZZZquil nighttime sleep aid w/ 10% alcohol in each their flavored calming vanilla cherry (this will put me to sleep so I won't know when I finally leave this godforsaken universe.)

That should do it I'll be attacking the radial artery mainly.

Cutting may take longer but I just hope it workx as I don't want to have to resort to another method. Its just the only thing I have to work with unless if I can figure out how to manufacture "Hydrogen sulfide" which would be way better.

Seconal, Tuinal, Nembutal? Either doctor, black market, or maybe Darknet. These three are highly regulated, so your chances are slim. As for Xanax, I believe this requires either a drug cocktail (other drugs to potentiate it) or addition of alcohol, which makes you vomit. If you ain't well connected enough to score the good stuff, then Conium maculatum is the best bet.

The sleeping pills (Seconal, Tuinal, Nembutal, etc.) does the job. Get 30 and you don't need alcohol. Adding a tricyclic just prevents resuscitation...no idea how that works, but it does. If you go the Socrates Folly route, all you have to do is hold it down a few minutes, then the coniine paralyzes the diaphragm and stomach muscles that power vomiting.

So how exactly does that work with the sleeping pills because what happens when you take a handful of sleeping pills or anti-anxiety meds wash it down with some alcohol to make sure of a good combination but then throw it up?

None. Want a neat exit? Go with the way Robin Williams or Mark Salling chose. Want a painless and neat exit? Go with an overdose on sleeping pills (the strong stuff) mixed with a tricyclic antidepressant like Elavil. Can't find a generous doctor? Go with the choice of Socrates...find a stand of Conium maculatum, or buy some seeds and grow it out.

Overdoses are not the way to go, there are too many risks involved which if your survive may leave you with lifelong medical issues, that believe me, will make you wish you "succeeded". Im talking about people that have ended up with chronic pain issues, terrible irreversible gut/bowel problems, that is if you are not so neurologically damaged that you end up in a persistent vegetative state. That you do not want. If you search online about overdoses, successes/failures, you will see that it is one of the most unreliable methods for suicide. Its also near impossible to choose a medication that will do what you ask despite searching online. Every person reacts differently to various medications. Some people have taken huge amounts of a specific drug and yet still survived while another person may take a fraction of that dose and die. Its not worth it.

No problem. Oil has been found much deeper than even the oldest discovered fossil (oil 40,502 feet vs fossils 22,110 feet). It would be impossible for oil to be present in deeper regions if they were solely a byproduct of fossil decay.

At the bottom is a link that strongly suggests that oil wells actually refill. Also impossible if it's a fossil byproduct.

It's a hoax that was used to create the public perception of scarcity to drive up the price of oil.

The deepest fossil ever discovered was dug up at a depth of 6700 meters (22,110 ft).
2-Billion-Year-Old Fossils Discovered In The World’s Deepest Hole

according to Bryan Nelson of the Mother Nature Network, the scientists detected microscopic plankton fossils in chunks of granite estimated to be approximately two billion years old at a depth of 6700 meters (22,110 ft) underneath the surface of the Earth.

This is the deepest that fossils were found, but they didn't stop there. They kept digging to a depth of roughly 39,370 ft.

As the scientists ventured deeper into the Earth, they found that the temperatures rose to such a level that they were physically incapable of continuing to probe further. The temperature of the hole at 12 kilometers is an astonishing 180 degrees Celsius, which earned the Kola Superdeep Borehole the sobriquet the ‘Door to Hell’. Owing to the unbearable working conditions, the project was officially terminated in 2005.

  • Crude oil is not a fossil fuel.

The deepest oil well drilled to find oil is 40,502 feet.

Visualizing The World’s Deepest Oil Well

  • Natural gas is not a fossil fuel.

Natural gas is always produced with oil, or a burned-off waste by-product.

  • Coal? I'm not sure about the origins, but it's very unlikely that it is a fossil fuel.

I'm uncertain about this, but it's less relevant. No one is going to war over coal.

The public has been thoroughly mislead about the origins of petroleum. It's not even certain that it's non-renewable.

Earth Is An Oil-Producing Machine — We're Not Running Out

I agree with this. Especially, the biodiversity.

However, is important to keep these issues separate, as they are only loosely related.

Concerning depletion:

  • Crude oil is not a fossil fuel.
  • Natural gas is not a fossil fuel.
  • Coal? I'm not sure about the origins, but it's very unlikely that it is a fossil fuel.

Yes. We have to remember that violence in the US has been declining since the late eighties. The media is creating divides: right against left, white against black, black against white, and it's simply not true. Left against right is paid for—antifa, BLM, all are paid and ride in on the same bus.

media are adjusting their programming to make it as depression-inducing and socially destructive as possible.

That and the fact that news media only covering bad stuff and social media only highlighting the best stuff distorts the true world-view of people, making them feel disconnected from the world and much more depressed.

Still, it's much lower than in the depression era but the question is: why have US suicide rates risen since 1997? There are multiple factors but one I feel sure is cognitive dissonance. There is a vast difference between the realities mass media are trying to create and the reality people experience in their own lives. In many cases, media are adjusting their programming to make it as depression-inducing and socially destructive as possible. An example is Netflix. Thanks, I love a nice graph.

Easy
Painless
Certain.

Did you ever hear the maxim "Good, Fast, and Cheap; Pick Two"?
You can have one, and often times two, but never all three.

It's one thing when people go on and on with their fucking platitudes when talking about a young and physically healthy person, but it's especially fucked up that such an old man still had to jump through hoops and travel 8000 miles away from his home to get a peaceful end.

“I would prefer to be able to do it in this country,” he told 9 News Australia about leaving Australia. “This country is my home. I’m sorry to have to go a long way away in order to end my life.”

Again the problem is the lack of users. This site is like reddit but because it's so small, every new post is just coming up on the front page and normie comments get through. On this site everyone is auto-subscribed to everything so the subscriber count doesn't reflect people who specifically wanted to be on SS.

It's hard to get the word out about this place, the only thing we can do to get more activity other than making posts. If this had been around immediately after /r/SS was banned it would be a different situation, but everyone is scattered around now. Maybe mention it over on SS.com - not portraying it as "competition" just another site to use for people who prefer this format, if you're a member of any discords or anything maybe mention it there too.

You misunderstood my post. I'm not an incel, I mostly agree with you. Incels are a dangerous hate group. Sanctionedsuicide[dot]com, also at sanctionedsuicide[dot]net, the forum linked in the sidebar, is run by them but downplays the connection in order to appeal to/prey on a wider audience. This is documented on the subreddits r/exposingss, r/suicideabusewatchdog, and r/u_lightuthrowaway on reddit. However, as far as I know the majority of people who ctb are old people, although of course not exclusively.

This is however unrelated to my main point, that this space could benefit from additional moderators, preferably ones with diverse geographic backgrounds/sleep schedules. s/ss and s/depression currently only have a single moderator, who seems extremely inactive. I'm not sure, but I don't think there is a procedure to request a mod position from the admins, because of security. Perhaps these spaces can be migrated to replacement spaces on saidit, along with their content?

I don't stay in hotels, or motels. Low end places have the methheads, bed bugs, and who knows what; Hi end places, have the coke users, and white china users.

Both places have a lot of sexual activity; imagine a black light in any of them. I had an acquaintance who was an escort driver; the amount of semen on the floors of even the most expensive places is just over the top.

Considering these things alone, not really a dignified place for my death; I realize each to their own.

On that topic of a hotel death, a relative of mine ran a resorts house cleaning unit. They dealt with people who simply died, as well as suicides in the rooms; it was somewhat 'normal'.

All anyone does to clean up a room, is minimal; if you die on the bed, and don't shit, or piss yourself, or even if you do, all they do is change the sheets for the next guest. Just odd I guess.

Perhaps open bodies of water? Burial at sea, and never have to be in a mortuary. Respect in death sort of thing...

I agree with Tom, it's really inconsiderate to leave your body for someone else to discover; not to mention the possible business side effects. Having that said though, from what I've heard, you're not alone in the idea of using a hotel; it's common.

My take on death, it's just a passageway; even the worst ways to die, end eventually; if you really want to die, nothing will stand in your way.

My only suggestions, don't do something where others will end up restricted as well. Ether is what they used to sedate people with, and I know it'll snuff out injured animals.

I tried several times, but when I did I was in a very bad way, not able to research and fortunately not stupid enough to try anything that left me worse but alive. Obviously I lived.

As I began to get better I made sure to research when I could. So If I ever fell again I could do it right and without errors.

For example, I learned that hanging isn't as simple as the media would lead you to believe - and that there are two methods. The short drop and the long drop. Neither sound good.

I also learned about the Hemlock Society for compassionate ethical dignified endings. You might want to check out their resources. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Hemlock+Society

I don't recall coming across any of the stuff you mentioned and that stuff seems complicated.

Renting helium tanks for parties is easy enough and there are ample instructions out there on how to do it effectively. This would be in my top options if I ever come to that again.

One of the concerns many folks have is how the body will be discovered. For example, some people don't want their families to find them with a helium bag over their heads. Most other solutions are more complicated.

I hope you find compassion, relief, and peace whatever happens.

I'm not sure, I think they may have dropped that line of inquiry. She knew about her plans beforehand, they discussed it together and she didn't warn SiArc that her plan wouldn't work. Apparently people have more incriminating information about her. If you want more information look for it yourself.

Orchid and Wee say that they are cooperating with the police in investigating the forum. I seem to recall one of them saying that users are safe, but I can't find that at the moment. All the information is on the linked subreddits, but there is quite a lot of it. I can't confirm their claims with respect to the crimes and investigations, but they seem plausible. IIRC according to Orchid users and lurkers on the forum who haven't given explicit advice on methods or similar, including her, wouldn't be in violation of American law. The same thing probably applies to most other countries.

Orchid is under police protection in Sarasota, FL and is also cooperating with Selah Freedom (https://www.selahfreedom.com/). There is a particular focus on the case of SiArc, who ctb in a house fire along with her dog, and the involvement moderator iheartrockart had in the failure of her plan. The police and fire department in Springfield have been contacted. https://snew.notabug.io/r/u_UniqueOrchid/comments/akhu6u/schadenfreude_and_sanctioned_suicide/ SiArc was a former cop, so her colleagues will probably want to avenge her.

i could say i "recovered" from it more like accepted that and moved on, probably gladly will take the "deal" if life take a turn for the worse and loose my family financial support

but for now i really dont care, i guess i could say i am "existing", not really living but just living for sake of existing

i still do come back and pay a visit occasionally, to see how things gone for others, most times i change name everytime that happen to maintain my anonymity(not looking forward to be manhunted down) people come and go and it's easy to mask in between

honestly dare if i say this is more effective then suicide watch, just let people talk out about their feelings, they will resolve it themself over time

reddit probably banned it just for sake of not being "unsightly for advertisers", coating it with "not supporting suicide"

also where are everyone now days? other than ss website forum

Mostly have given up. My life's in a strange place right now. Those subs were the only places I could go to for support. I have literally no one in real life. So when they were gone, a part of me went with them. I have no idea how to cope alone and it feels like my escapism is going to catch up to me eventually. That's all can really do now, escape into fiction for as long as possible.

I think the banning of those subs has shattered the community, and it will likely remain shattered for quite some time. I didn't even realize how much it meant to me until it was gone and now I feel like something is missing. I'd be open to other sites but I'll just lurk here from time to time. I like sites that are accessible and have clear rules. No moderation at all can lead to unpleasant situations - which is why I at least like some rules. But regardless, I don't know what to do anymore. I hope you're fairing better than I am.

Okay that makes sense, I see no problem with that. The ban page on FTG says that they were encouraging suicide, but I'm very unsurprised to see reddit admins exaggerating so they can do as they please.

What I really don't want to see is the "Well you've thought it through and I guess you should do it since that's what you decided, huh?" type of thinking. I don't want to create a habitat for that type of open encouragement for the aforementioned reasons. But everything you said sounds fine and reasonable. I think people should have someone to talk to in their darkest hour, and not just phone hotlines that I've heard are often understaffed and the listeners are very restricted in what they can say to the point where it almost becomes unhelpful. So I can understand the need and usefulness for such a place, and I have nothing against it.

Hm, the thing about the subs that have been banned lately is that it was more of a neutral stance towards suicide. It wasn't anti-suicide, but it also did not encourage people to commit suicide either. Personally, FTG was where I dwelled, and it was just mostly people hearing out each other's problems. If someone were to post that they were going to kill themselves, people in FTG wouldn't say "Don't!" but moreso probably "I'm so sorry your life has ended up this way and I hope whatever you choose that you can find peace." I hope these examples make sense; that was the gist of the suicide sphere over in Reddit. It was respecting people's decisions with utmost sympathy, not encouragement or belittling (there was no "don't do that, silly! it ALWAYS gets better, TEEHEE~" if I'm making sense here).

EDIT: When I say "it was more of a neutral stance" I'm referring to the stances the subs generally took, not the admins. It's obvious the admins are anti-suicide and anti-support since they don't give a damn if suicidal people now have nowhere to go.

Reddit is really going nuts with the ban hammer. On this one, I've got no problem with people discussing suicide and being heard and understood. However I do have a problem with people encouraging suicide. Not sure if that's what was happening though. The latter is similar to inciting violence, and encouraging people to take actions that cannot be undone, based on their feelings in their darkest moments. Those feelings shouldn't be encouraged, lest the person do something they regret.

I don't want to end up like futurama where there are suicide booths everywhere and everyone is just OK with this. But I am very much for people talking freely and openly about how they feel about this world and their place in it, even if that's not a pleasant discussion. That is 100% welcome on saidit.
