when do you think this website will get the reddit treatment? is there a failsafe plan for a website like this? on the same level as piratebay where they have a bunch of domains that they use in the event their website gets shutdown or regulated?

We've taken a lot of steps to protect SaidIt including having the minimum possible budget and hosting it with a privacy respecting country. We can also hop hosts within 24 hours.

Long term though, we hope to make most of the site content available as a download. Then anyone can fire up a new site.

The real solution tho is federated reddit. Someday that will be available.

The masses dont care about that. The masses are entrenched at reddit. They don't realise or even care that the reddit subs are ruled and controlled by a network of propagandists.
