Got to agree, saidit became trash overnight. All coming from a recent sub without a theme and mostly from users who don't seem active until 48h ago.

I really hope u/magnora7 looks in to this.

the theme is we used to like opie and anthony but now we hate them and also we hate patrick tomlinson, because he called norm macdonald unfunny once, and norm macdonald was also on opie and anthony a couple of times, which ties all of this deep lore together.

At some point SaidIt will probably switch over to the classic Reddit model- no auto subscribe, and /s/subscribed as the home page. Maybe we're ready for it now.

Yeah I think we might be ready for it. I think we could probably get rid of the opt-out system at the least, but maybe still keep /all as homepage.

Also it'd be cool if there was a "don't show on /new" option for subs, similar to the "don't show on /all". Then they could uncheck both, and we could have rules like "nothing illegal, no advocating violence, everything else goes" if they're willing to uncheck both boxes. Because the O&A stuff still appears on /new.

Just an idea I had today. I think it'd work really well.
