I didn't make them, I took ownership over them after the original creator was banned as a troll.

What kind of trolling was he doing? Disagreeing?

He was creating 50 subs that were all hyper-controversial content, both far-left and far-right, and used a script to do it in an automated way that bypassed our original rule of only one sub per week. Far more than just disagreeing, it was a targeted attack

Is the validation for this client-side instead of server-side? Because that's not very good.

The validation was on one front page but not a secondary back page that actually processed the forms, and he bypassed that with a hack. We fixed it a long time ago after that happened though, it's all proper now

LOL @ reddit.

What an interesting attack though. That is likely someone with some familiarity with an older version of reddit. Considering saidit isn't really that large enough to attack, and it's such an insignificant exploit....

Makes one wonder.

Unless kids these days have TOO much time on their hands. But that's a VERY basic exploit. And that's what reddit is putting out as their "modern" source code prior to redesign.

Everything they do is fake.
