The irony of someone who supports physical_removal, crying about having their sub removed. It's your own ideology come to life! You should therefore support my actions. But that irony aside...

There has been plenty of discussion about why, ad nauseum.

"didn't feel like talking to a guy like you."

Pretty certain I never said anything like that.

Physical removal is removed for advocating violence ("Let's throw gays and communists out of helicopters, so to speak." being a central meme), and coontown is also removed for advocating violence. ("Black people are just the worst and shouldn't exist, and we should probably hang them" being a central meme)

You seem more upset you can't set up little mod fiefdoms than you actually are upset about your information being limited.

The issue has been explained to you. The community doesn't really support you. What are you even trying to accomplish here? If you want to hate black people and gays so bad that you need to make a whole sub about it, just go to voat. Seriously.

We have banned 5 subs in 16 months, so this idea it's "worse than reddit" in terms of censorship is just laughable.

The irony of someone who supports physical_removal, crying about having their sub removed.

However, I am for free speech. I'm just at the understanding that the left isn't someone you debate with, like how you don't debate someone trying to kill you. You don't debate ISIS on why what they're doing is wrong, because they don't care.

Pretty certain I never said anything like that.

Or close enough. You certainly didn't want to talk about it (and made some other statement very much against the Holy Pyramid of Debate).

Physical removal is removed for advocating violence ("Let's throw gays and communists out of helicopters, so to speak." being a central meme)

Physical_Removal was for the legalization of State actions against treasonous and dangerous people in this country. And, no, gays were not anybody we focused on other than the weirdos who dress in S&M in public and such.

Anyways, Communists are not people.

and coontown is also removed for advocating violence. ("Black people are just the worst and shouldn't exist, and we should probably hang them" being a central meme)

Coontown had excellent policies against calls to violence, and this was admitted by two CEOs of reddit. Furthermore, it was not against the existence of all blacks. We even had a few blacks who agreed with us, and many of us were Thomas Sowell fans.

You seem more upset you can't set up little mod fiefdoms than you actually are upset about your information being limited.

I am upset that my information is being limited. Physical Removal, IMO, is the most important cause one can undertake in today's society. Coontown was good old fashioned trollish racism and crime statistics/stories.

We have banned 5 subs in 16 months, so this idea it's "worse than reddit" in terms of censorship is just laughable.

Of all the subreddits you have banned with political purposes, how many were leftists?

ShitRedditSays, for example, certainly ruined more lives than Coontown did. /r/Anarchism has called for violence plenty of times, including telling people to bring firecrackers to "protests" which actually did happen the following day. FuckTheAltRight is full of calls to violence.

We have banned 5 subs in 16 months, so this idea it's "worse than reddit" in terms of censorship is just laughable.

Of those 16 months, very few of those had any worthwhile traffic to speak of, and they were banned for reasons obviously untrue as stated previously.

[–]magnora7 9 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 3 fun -  (38 children)

FuckTheAltRight is full of calls to violence.

Yup and it would be banned if it came to saidit, for the same reasons coontown and physical_removal were banned.

[–]Troll[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (27 children)

What a non-statement. Both those subs had, at most, like 2-3 submissions. It's not the left-wing ones you ban, though. And you were the sole moderator of boht PR and CT, last I checked. So how did they even come to saidit if nobody was posting in them? So why a different standard?

You want to tell me who you voted for in 2016?

[–]Zombi 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun -  (25 children)

Please provide an example of left leaning subs calling form violence and I'm sure magnora7 would ban it.... You act like there's some conspiracy against you lol.

[–]Troll[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (24 children)

[–]Benedict 10 insightful - 8 fun10 insightful - 7 fun11 insightful - 8 fun -  (7 children)

That's not this site. You expect the SaidIt admins to ban a Reddit sub?

[–]Troll[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Oh man. Comment of the fucking year.

[–]Benedict 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (5 children)

So does that mean "Yes, you expect them to ban a sub on another site?"

[–]Troll[S] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

No, the point is that they're banning subreddits here because they were banned on reddit.

[–]Zombi 8 insightful - 4 fun8 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 4 fun -  (15 children)

I thought this was a pretty clear question, but as with everything else you seem to just loving muddying the waters. Do you have any proof of left leaning subs on saidit calling for violence? Reddit is a different site, so citing their users as a reflection of ours is a little misleading.

This is a very, very simple issue to solve. If there are calls for violence on left leaning subs within saidit that have yet to be banned then /u/magnora7 is a hypocrite. If the calls to violence seem to be only an issue within your subs, then maybe it's something YOU'RE doing if multiple websites keep banning the type of communities you tend to build.

You ever have that thought? That maybe, just maybe, you're not some helpless victim? That maybe it's not the entire world out to get you? You ever wonder if there's a slim chance that it might just be you who's the asshole? Man, what a world that would be... It's just so hard to picture a reality in which you, of all people, might actually be in the wrong.

[–]Troll[S] 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (14 children)

Do you have any proof of left leaning subs on saidit calling for violence?

Does Magnora have any proof of the banned subreddits here doing that, too?

Are you a moron? Honest question.

You're a limp-wristed faggot leftist. I bet you're not even 18 year thinking you know it all, too. If you're over 18 then I'd be ashamed for your sake.

[–]Zombi 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (4 children)

I, personally, don't need any as I've seen the memes/posts he's referring to on those subs, but I'm sure if you really wanted proof he would be able to find evidence. Since they're banned I can't go look. Nice job avoiding the question, btw. Here it is again: Do you have any proof that left leaning subs on saidit are making calls for violence yet still aren't banned?

Such a simple question that you've repeatedly failed to answer. So weird how your giant galaxy brain can't answer it.

You're a limp-wristed faggot leftist. I bet you're not even 18 year thinking you know it all, too. If you're over 18 then I'd be ashamed for your sake.

Considering you're literally named "Troll" I just find the irony of this comment so goddamn sweet. Thank you so much for this lmfao!

Here it is again: Do you have any proof that left leaning subs on saidit are making calls for violence yet still aren't banned?

I already posted one link with plenty of examples. Here's something inside the crystal ball, though: the reddit admins are going to clean house with the moderators of /r/chapotraphouse while not banning the subreddit, while it has done more than most right wing subreddits in terms of violence and harassment.

Considering you're literally named "Troll" I just find the irony of this comment so goddamn sweet. Thank you so much for this lmfao!

Trolls are forum power users. The top of the food chain. Cream of the crop. Alpha males.

[–]magnora7 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

You're a limp-wristed faggot leftist.

Are you a moron?

Please respect the pyramid of debate, this is warning 2.5 because I'm being lenient. https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/j1/the_saiditnet_terms_and_content_policy/

One more infraction where you are dragging the quality of discussion down the pyramid of debate and you're banned from the site.

[–]happysmash27 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

/u/Troll, please respect the pyramid of debate. This debate should be finished, and not ruined due to a lack of self-control resulting in your ban :( . I can even help review your comments if you like.

[–]happysmash27 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Does Magnora have any proof of the banned subreddits here doing that, too?

You are right, that /u/Magnora7 really should have proof; I agree with this point.

Are you a moron? Honest question.

People usually don't get themselves tested for this, so I doubt /u/Zombi can actually answer.

You're a limp-wristed faggot leftist. I bet you're not even 18 year thinking you know it all, too. If you're over 18 then I'd be ashamed for your sake.

This is completely unfounded as well as extremely low on the pyramid. Are you trying to get banned, maybe as ammo against SaidIt?

[–]Zombi 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I totally agree that proof should be provided for those that haven't seen it. I've seen the posts/memes magnora7 is referring to, so I don't really need it, but I do think it would be nice to have some in the future.

[–]Troll[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Are you trying to get banned, maybe as ammo against SaidIt?

No, I'm just an asshole, and felt banning these subreddits here for the reasons banned was very poor -- especially when the leftie subreddits were much worse in illegal speech than my precious /r/physical_removal.

[–]UmamiTofu 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You want to tell me who you voted for in 2016?

Ad hominem is pretty low on the pyramid my friend

[–]Troll[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Just a reminder to anybody reading this: magnora7 created /s/coontown and /s/physicalremoval (not the correct /s/physical_removal) and banned them under them "being here," but gives left-leaning subreddits a different approach.

Who DID you vote for in 2016?

[–]magnora7 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun -  (8 children)

I didn't make them, I took ownership over them after the original creator was banned as a troll.

[–]Troll[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I'd have been more than happy to take them off your hands.

What kind of trolling was he doing? Disagreeing?

[–]magnora7 9 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

He was creating 50 subs that were all hyper-controversial content, both far-left and far-right, and used a script to do it in an automated way that bypassed our original rule of only one sub per week. Far more than just disagreeing, it was a targeted attack

[–]happysmash27 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Is the validation for this client-side instead of server-side? Because that's not very good.

[–]magnora7 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The validation was on one front page but not a secondary back page that actually processed the forms, and he bypassed that with a hack. We fixed it a long time ago after that happened though, it's all proper now

[–]Troll[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

LOL @ reddit.

What an interesting attack though. That is likely someone with some familiarity with an older version of reddit. Considering saidit isn't really that large enough to attack, and it's such an insignificant exploit....

Makes one wonder.

Unless kids these days have TOO much time on their hands. But that's a VERY basic exploit. And that's what reddit is putting out as their "modern" source code prior to redesign.

Everything they do is fake.

[–]Troll[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's fair, then.

[–]bobbobbybob 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I'd like to see the evidence of him being a troll.

Other than him disagreeing with you

[–]magnora7 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

The original creator registered 50 subs with an automated script, and they were all extremist subs both left and right. That's more than disagreeing with me

[–]happysmash27 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

About /r/Anarchism, I believe /s/Anarchism is actually a private sub on this site, so I wouldn't say it's supported too much as a group (rather than an ideology, which itself often does not advocate for violence. The group though, can be pretty bad. )

On to some other points:

I'm just at the understanding that the left isn't someone you debate with, like how you don't debate someone trying to kill you. You don't debate ISIS on why what they're doing is wrong, because they don't care.

Why? I, as a very open-minded, independant-thinking leftist, am very welcoming of debate. Maybe some leftists might be crazy, but usually, any group comprises much more than crazy strawmen, even if some crazy strawmen exist.

You certainly didn't want to talk about it (and made some other statement very much against the Holy Pyramid of Debate).

I agree, that this probably was not a very good action in terms of the pyramid.

Anyways, Communists are not people.

Some definitions:

communist: n1. An advocate of a society based on the common ownership of property; a proponent of communism.

advocate: n3. A person who speaks in support of something.

By definition, communists are people, no matter how harmful certain communists may be.

This type of thinking is really against the spirit of SaidIt in my opinion, which tends to promote understanding between people with different viewpoints. Please remember to be open-minded (this goes for everyone reading this)!

Coontown had excellent policies against calls to violence, and this was admitted by two CEOs of reddit. Furthermore, it was not against the existence of all blacks. We even had a few blacks who agreed with us, and many of us were Thomas Sowell fans.

This is a potentially good point, and should be discussed further with more evidence.

[–]Troll[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

My main point there was that coontown and physicalremoval got punished for behavior that was said to have happened at reddit, and behavior that did not happen at all.

Why? I, as a very open-minded, independant-thinking leftist, am very welcoming of debate. Maybe some leftists might be crazy, but usually, any group comprises much more than crazy strawmen, even if some crazy strawmen exist.

You're a liberal, I wouldn't necessary call you a leftist per se. It's semantics, I know, but a liberal is someone who, in my eyes, is not a true believer but just believes what they do because it's what society does. If you were born 700 years ago monarchy would have been normal and democracy would have been horrific (which should be the case today, IMO).

Some definitions:

I'm aware of what the formal definitions are, but I've viewed communism as having evolved, especially considering cultural marxism.

I don't consider leftists to be people because they don't believe in agency and seem to have none, the NPC meme I felt was very spot-on.

[–]happysmash27 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ayy, no! I don't like what society does at all! I'm not even close to that!

At one point, I independently came up with the idea of giving things away for free, like in the free software movement, but in real life. Apparently, this coincided with "Anarcho-Communism". Before this, I thought that "communist" meant "evil dictatorship", as I was going with society, but now, I don't.

I don't even go with the herd on "communist" subs, because both /r/Communism and /r/Anarchism have rejected me to say the least…

I'm aware of what the formal definitions are, but I've viewed communism as having evolved, especially considering cultural marxism.

Definitions of these annoy me a lot. I should be called communist, but the fact is that my ideas come from free culture and freedom of speech rather than the ideology: Copyright makes illegal numbers, and that is silly and violates freedom of speech; Copyright is how many artists make money and making money is how most artists get food; the farmers demand money because they must pay bills, one notable one being property tax to the government, which is the only thing one really needs to pay, at a base level, to get food and resources; therefore, property tax is the reason for copyright, as well as enslaving people to the government and the existing "capitalist" economy, violating an individual's right to self-determination. Basically, people demand money, but why do we even need money? Why not just give for free, not worrying about all this accounting? One very big obstacle is, again, property tax. There may be more obstacles, but to fully explain this and clarify what I am saying (at the moment I am dissatisfied with the amount of articulation in my explanation of my ideology), it would take a very long time and many, many re-writes. One thing I didn't address in this paragraph, for example, is potential resource scarcity.

I don't consider leftists to be people because they don't believe in agency and seem to have none, the NPC meme I felt was very spot-on.

Ah, but I, as a leftist, do believe in free agency, very very strongly. Perhaps that is why so many leftists like banning me despite being leftist myself; I was banned from /r/Communism for posting about Anarkikomunismolando, and banned from /r/Anarchism for believing in free speech for everyone including fascists and for my opinions regarding child pornography which are very complicated (too complicated to explain right now at least), but over-simplified by them into "raping children is fine", which I do not believe. I think this distortion was a part of some kind of Delphi Technique they were doing, possibly to make me look worse for my other opinion.

In short: my ideology is quite a lot different from what society does, and is, unfortunately, very hard to explain due to how different it is.
